The NKY Chamber's community-based leadership programs grow, connect, encourage, and challenge leaders at all levels through life-changing leadership experiences.
Programs are designed to help a diverse group of emerging and established community leaders acquire an understanding of the strengths and challenges of the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati region.
Participants at every level will:
- Use the community as a classroom to better understand our region while gaining the collaborative skills necessary to motivate and engage other leaders to become involved;
- Make meaningful connections by building their professional and personal networks;
- Gain confidence in their leadership abilities;
- Develop new leadership skills including empowering others, addressing problems in new ways, and enhancing self-awareness.
Leadership Programs
Leadership NKY
Leadership NKY is designed to help a diverse group of established community leaders acquire an understanding of the strengths and challenges of the region, and the skills necessary to engage others in collaborative efforts to address them. The curriculum for each session changes based on the needs of the region for that specific topic.
Regional Youth Leadership
Modeled after Leadership Northern Kentucky, RYL is a community leadership development program for high school juniors in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. The 7-month program is a series of sessions held monthly during the school day from September through March focusing on different topics that inform and strengthen student awareness of the opportunities that exist in our region.
