Brighton Center, Inc. is a private non-profit community based organization with the mission to create opportunities for individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency through family support services, education, employment and leadership. 
 
We currently have a  Full-Time opportunity for an individual who would like to make a career in a not-for-profit organization.  We are looking for an individual to work in an organization that helps its customers become self-sufficient.
 
The BCT – Success Coach will provide integration success skills and adult education into skill training classroom for a diverse group of students.  Practical, hands-on curriculum should be integrated through a number of resources such as web-based applications, project-based education, group exercises, role playing scenarios and other materials as deemed necessary and relevant through industry standards.  Lesson plans should be updated based upon current labor market needs; individualized learning will be required while aligning with current Center for Employment Training policies and precepts.
 
Responsibilities
(Not Inclusive)
  • Success Coach will create lesson plans, grade, and track attendance as well as play an active role in records maintenance while assisting Instructor with classroom management. 
  • Build rapport on a daily basis with Center for Employment Training trainees will be essential for classroom success.
  • Ability to provide feedback on trainee progress through individual meetings will be expected. 
  • Able to engage and interact with trainees and alumni to appropriately establish positive and professional relationships.
Requirements
(Not Inclusive)
  • Minimum of Bachelor degree preferably in Human Services, Education or related field
  • Strong computer skills and must know Microsoft Office applications
  • A customer first attitude
  • Great attention to detail and highly organized
  • Experience with case management and counseling a plus.
  • Able to take into account the diversity of the adult learners in the program. 
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience working with an economically disadvantaged population with attention to individual needs is preferred. 
 
Pay Rate
$28,000 – 30,000 Annually
