The Chamber’s Women’s Initiative offers a continuum of growth for women of all ages and stages of their careers. Through the Women’s Initiative the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce offers four programs focused on professional growth: Business Women Connect, Business Women Grow, Business Women Achieve and Business Women Online.
Business Women Connect - Happy Hours
Looking to network and build relationships with some of the area’s most dynamic professional women? Attend this monthly event and invite friends and coworkers to meet, mix and mingle. These casual gatherings are open to all area professional women and free to attend. Happy hours events are scheduled on the last Monday of every month from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at a local restaurant. No RSVP required. Cash bar.
Business Women Grow - Mentoring Program
Looking to learn from a senior level executive? Through our mentoring program, mid-level professional women can receive one-on-one formal mentoring with a current or former senior executive. The program’s goal is to match selected women with a mentor that will assist them to further their professional growth. Mentors may be male or female.
Requires a one year commitment by both parties, meeting monthly.
Mentors will provide the following to their mentees:
Technical advising
Ethical guidance
Advocacy
Role modeling
Coaching

Business Women Achieve - Peer-to-Peer Roundtable Program
Join a circle of peers to foster professional development. This structured program enables members to draw on the experience and successes of their peers. Similar-level professionals from noncompeting businesses meet monthly in a confidential forum.
