The Chamber encourages a climate of growth and success for all types of businesses, including those owned by minorities and women. When a business is at least 51% owned and operated by a female individual, it qualifies as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE). These types of businesses can receive this certification a variety of ways, including:

• Self certification
• State certification
• National certification 

Although owners can ‘self-certify,’ many large corporations working with women-owned businesses are looking for an organization that is certified at either the state or national level, however, it is not necessary to get both state and national certifications. Most companies do honor national certification. Use the links below to learn how the Chamber supports locally owned and operated Women Owned Business enterprises.
