Peer-to-Peer Roundtable Guidelines: The 3 C’s

1. ConfidentialityAny information shared must be kept confidential.  A lack of trust among group members can destroy a functioning group.  All group members must sign a confidentiality agreement.

2. Candidness – Members should be willing to be frank about their company and its strengths and weaknesses.

Effective feedback focuses on:

-Behavior and actions, not person and actor

-Observations, not conclusions

-Information and ideas, not answers and advice

Effective feedback is:

-Well timed

-Specific

-Sensitive to the needs of both receiver and giver

-Given in a climate of mutual respect, trust and openness

3. Commitment – We believe in active participation and regular meeting attendance as outlined in membership criteria.   Everyone assumes responsibility for the needs of the group.
